Client: Military Family

Location: Hampton Roads, VA

This couple adored their home and neighborhood; however, their family’s needs had outgrown their original floor plan. The clients wanted to create additional space for their growing family.

Client’s Requests:

            -1 new bedroom

            -A full bathroom

            -A home office

            -A half bath

            -Better access to their current patio

A private primary suite was designed for the homeowners, and the previous primary bedroom was converted into a child’s room. The new suite offers generous closet and bathroom space, with a layout that provides easy access to the patio, where gatherings with friends and family are frequent. Full glass-panel French doors bring natural light into the hallway, and a half bath across the hall is conveniently located for guests.

The result is a thoughtfully integrated addition that enhances both daily living and entertaining.
